ROUTES - Changes to the operation at Congonhas Airport (CGH), Sao Paulo

Local authorities in Brazil have announced that the Congonhas airport (CGH) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, will undergo construction work between August 5 and September 5, 2020. The following is a detail of the planned schedule.

 

Flights Affected:

All flights operating into/out of CGH between August 05 and September 05, 2020.

Protection proposed:

Flights will be transferred to Guarulhos airport (GRU) in the same city, although the flight numbers, dates and departure times may vary.

Reservation handling:

Protecting LATAM flights are being automatically and centrally incorporated into reservations. 

 

If protection does not appear in their reservation, customers may be protected as indicated.

 

Travel agents have to complete the process as an involuntary reissue on protected flights, keeping the original fare construction.

 

Customers with booked ancillaries may transfer these services to the new flights, subject to availability.

When reissuing, insert the following note in the Ticket Endorsements box:

SKED CHG DUE TO CNLD CGH

Important Note:

If a customer is not satisfied with the alternative itinerary proposed, s/he may request a change or refund as per the terms defined in Exceptions due to Brazilian Government measures in response to Coronavirus.
