SPECIAL NEEDS - Considerations for issuing extra seat or cabin baggage

Description

In order to ensure that the reservations generated for EXST and CBBG services comply with the standards prior to issuance on LATAM flights, we recommend our travel agents to review the reservation with their local travel support agent before completing the issuance of the product.

Scope:

Issuance of EXST or CBBG

Implementation Date:

Immediate

Considerations

For the correct creation of the reservation, travel agents should consider:

  • Two spaces must be booked, one for the passenger and the other one is for the EXST or CBBG service. The service must be associated with a single passenger.
  • When filling in the name data for the EXST or CBBG, enter the name EXST or CBBG, as appropriate. In the last name field, the passenger's last name will be used. The travel agent must verify with his GDS the transaction for its correct entry.

The travel support agent must verify that in Sabre the names have been created correctly, that is, the passenger name is displayed as passenger 1.1 and the EXST or CBBG as passenger 1.2.
