MINORS - Change when accepting departure of minors

We extend the exception until April 30

According the new law 13.812 published on March, 16, 2019, article 83 of Child and Teenager Statute, in Brazil that establishes the need of travel authorization for domestic trips of unaccompanied minors until 15 years. Minors from 16 years don’t need the travel authorization.

Change:

It will be requested for all minor until 15 incomplete years a judicial authorization from responsible adult when traveling alone. This applies for Brazilian minors and residing in Brazil departing in any LATAM domestic flight in Brazil (this restriction is already applied for international flights).

Passengers traveling within April, 30 that are denied because doesn’t have the judicial authorization will have the possibility of exchange and / or refunds.

 

To proceed with one of these alternatives, you must contact your Support Agencies to request a waiver.
