ROUTE - Changes to the operation at Santos Dumont Airport (SDU), Rio de Janeiro

The runway repair work at Santos Dumont Airport (SDU) in Rio de Janeiro has been suspended until further notice. The updated information is available here.

Due to runway repair work at Santos Dumont Airport – Rio de Janeiro (SDU), the operation to/from this airport will be suspended from August, 12 until September, 10, 2019.

Customers are being notified since june, 15, 2019 via LATAM’s centralized channels: email, SMS, LATAM App.

Flights Affected:

All flights operating between August, 12 and September, 10, 2019.

Protection proposed:

Flights will be transferred to Galeao airport (GIG) in the same city.

Reservation handling:

Protecting LATAM flights are being automatically and centrally incorporated into reservations.

 

If protection does not appear in their reservation, passengers may be protected as indicated.

 

Passengers with ancillaries may receive these services on the new flights, subject to availability.

When reissuing, in Ticket Endorsements box enter:

SKED CHG DUE TO CNLD SDU

Important Note:

If a customer is not satisfied with the alternative itinerary proposed, s/he may request a change or refund as per the terms defined in the protection policy found in the LATAM Trade.
