ROUTE - Operational changes between Sao Paulo (GRU) and Santa Cruz (VVI) route

Due to commercial changes, operations between Sao Paulo (GRU), Brazil and Santa Cruz (VVI), Bolivia, will be no longer available from April 1, 2020. These flights are already closed for sale.

Customers are being notified via LATAM’s centralized channels: email, SMS, LATAM App.

 

Flights Affected:

LA8016 GRU-VVU

LA8017 VVI-GRU 

Protection proposed:

LATAM flights vía:

Santiago (SCL), Chile:

LA865 VVI SCL + LA8069 SCL GRU

LA8048 GRU SCL + LA864 SCL VVI

 

From the date Peru opens its borders, these flights may be used as protection as well:

Lima (LIM), Peru

LA2437 VVI LIM + LA8139 LIM GRU

LA8104 GRU LIM + LA2406 LIM VVI

Reservation handling:

Protecting flights are being incorporated manually in our central systems in the original cabin, both for direct and indirect channels.

 

If protection does not appear in their reservation, customers may be protected as indicated.

 

Travel agents have to complete the process as an involuntary reissue on protected flights, keeping the original fare construction.

When reissuing, in Ticket Endorsements box insert the note:

SKED CHG DUE TO GRU VVI CNLD

Ancillaries handling:

Involuntary refund of purchased ancillaries.

Important Note:

If a customer is not satisfied with the alternative itinerary proposed, s/he may request a change or refund as per the terms defined in the Coronavirus commercial exceptions procedure (point 1).
