Passenger Protection - Change to the protection window (-7 / +15) for tickets issued in Brazil

We inform to our travel agent that effective January 15, 2018 the time limit for changes of date/flight or rerouting for passengers affected by involuntary changes whose tickets have been issued in Brazil for travel to/from/within Brazil will be modified as follows:

- CHANGE OF DATE / FLIGHT OR REROUTING: Changes are allowed without penalty or fare differences (subject to cabin availability) within the ticket validity period. The change can be made without restrictions for Minimum Stay, Blackouts, Seasonality or Day/time.

This change eliminates the -7/+15 day interval from the original flight, thus opening the protection option to other flights within the ticket validity period.

The policy change applies regardless of the ticket issue date for any passenger affected who requests a change of date/flight or rerouting. Valid for tickets issued in Brazil for travel TO/FROM or WITHIN Brazil as from the date indicated above. Other protection options (such as change of destination, return, etc.) and current procedures remain unchanged.

All other protection options remain unchanged.

This information will be updated in the Passenger Protection section of LATAM TRADE on the effective date.
