In an effort to continue optimizing LATAM Airlines Brazil’s operation, effective 01 June 2019 service will be suspended between the cities of Brasília (BSB), Brazil, and Punta Cana (PUJ), Dominican Republic. Flights as of 27 May 2019 have been closed for sale in our distribution systems.

Please note that LATAM will continue to fly to Punta Cana with conexion in Lima(LIM).

The flights affected are:

BSB  PUJ LA8104 e LA8002

PUJ  BSB LA8105 e LA8003

Protections began to be applied automatically in LATAM’s central systems on 08 december 2018. Automatic protection will be provided on flights between Lima (LIM) and São Paulo (GRU)

Indirect sales passengers will be notified by their Travel Agencies using the regular procedure.

Those passengers who do not accept the proposed alternative of protection, will be able to choose one of the following options WITHOUT FINE and independent of the penalties item:

• Changes and Rerouting

Passengers wishing to advance their trip will be able to choose a change subject to cabin availability to travel in any date before May 26, 2019.

When making changes to the ticket and/or route, enter an SSR CKIN in the reservation and in the Endorsements/Restrictions box enter the following text:  INVOL CHG DUE TO BSB PUJ CLOSURE

(*) Change subject to cabin availability on LATAM flights implies that the travel agent must make the reservation in the original booking class. If the class is not available, the agent must reserve in the lowest booking class available in the same cabin of the LATAM flight and complete the involuntary ticket reissue. In other words, it is no longer necessary to contact the LATAM Sales Support Agent to request the original booking class.

• Refounds

Passengers may request a refund of the unused coupons, even if the fare regulation does not allow so.

When processing the refund, enter the following text in the REMARKS box: INVOL REF DUE TO BSB PUJ CLOSURE

• Ancillaries

Ancillaries associated to the ticket are subject to changes and/or refund depending on the action taken with the ticket.
