AGREEMENTS - Operation with Wamos Air is added on the SCL-MEX route


Description

We would like to inform you that the SCL-MEX route has been added to the Wamos Air aircraft and crew leasing operation (Wet Lease mode). We remind you that ground service (sales, post-sales, check-in, airport processes, among others) is handled as if it were any other LATAM flight.

Scope:

Change of flight equipment for customers travelling on the following dates and routes:

  • SCL-LAX-SCL (NOV24 y MAY25)
  • SCL-BOG-SCL (starting  01NOV24)
  • SCL-LIM-SCL (starting 02NOV24)
  • SCL-MEX-SCL (from 01MAY25 to 25OCT25)

 

They retain the original flight numbers.

Implementation date:

SCL LAX, SCL BOG, SCL LIM routes: On September 25, 2024, the operator on the distribution systems will change.

 

SCL MEX route: On December 21, 2024, the operator on the distribution systems will change.

Considerations: 

Wamos Air is a Spanish company specializing in aircraft leasing services.

 

Flights operated by Wamos Air will be indicated in the sales systems with the message LAXXX “OPERATED BY WAMOS AIR FOR LATAM AIRLINES GROUP”.

Special services

PETC service is not permitted on flights operated by Wamos, as the space under the seats on Wamos Air aircraft is smaller than LATAM's standard measurements.

 

Other special services (including BSCT service) can be requested while maintaining the LATAM standard indicated in each chapter in LATAM Trade.

Ancillaries

Seat selection: seats have no sales restrictions, they maintain the sales standards for LATAM flights.

 

Baggage sales: the same standard is maintained for LATAM flights.

 

Operations will continue at the departure and arrival terminals used by LATAM. Web check-in processes will also remain available for these flights through latam.com.

 

COMMERCIAL EXCEPTIONS

Customers with a change of airplane (operated by WAMOS) will be notified. In case they do not agree with this change, the following options may be given (WITHOUT FEE and independent of the penalties item) to customers with:



  • SCL LAX, SCL BOG, SCL LIM routes: tickets issued until September 24, 2024
  • SCL-MEX route: tickets issued until December 21, 2024.



a.              Change of date/flight:

  • Customers will be able to access a change at no cost, keeping the original route and cabin.
  • The protection must be made according to the availability of the original cabin, in the same class or, failing that, the lowest available.
  • The reissue will be made involuntarily, maintaining the original fare basis and fare construction.
  • All reissues must always be supported by an OSI INVOL DUE TO WAMOS AIRCRAFT in the PNR and the message INVOL DUE TO WAMOS AIRCRAFT which must be entered in the endorsement field of the ticket.
