Baggage - Payment of excess baggage at the gate in Peru

Considerations:

  • This treatment will be made only for passengers traveling between Lima (LIM) and Iquitos (IQT) and between Lima (LIM) and Chiclayo (CIX).
  • This charge will be made through the EMD-A called "Payment at Gate", from the Baggage group.
  • The means of payment accepted are in cash, debit and credit card (Visa / Mastercard)
  • The CUV will be sent to the passenger's mail and can be downloaded at LATAM.com
  • Passengers traveling only with carry-on baggage but exceeding the aforementioned dimensions, will be subject to payment at gate. Even those passengers who have a baggage allowed by franchise but did not tag it in the check-in counter, will be subject to the corresponding charge in the departure lounge.
  • Passengers who do not have a means of payment accepted at the gate will be allowed to return to the check-in area to make the payment with another means and be shipped DS on the next flight with space available after paying the bag.
  • Passengers who do not wish to make the payment will not be able to board their suitcase on the flight.

They are exempt from payment:

  • Unaccompanied minors (UMNR)
  • Passengers boarding flights with delay greater than 1 hour
  • The Black and Black Signature passengers.
