Starting May 28, 2026, passengers between 12 and 17 years old traveling without an accompanying adult will be identified with SSR YPTA (young passenger traveling alone).
| Description: | The SSR YPTA code (young passenger traveling alone) is for informational purposes and allows the identification of passengers between 12 and 17 years old who travel without an accompanying adult. When a booking has the SSR DOCS correctly entered, the system will automatically add the SSR YPTA code. |

| Implementation date: | Immediate. |
| Considerations: | In this first implementation phase, passengers who meet the YPTA profile will be flagged with the YPTA and TEEN codes on LATAM flights. Passengers between 12 and 17 years old traveling with an accompanying adult will continue to be identified with the SR TEEN code. |
