The Baby Bassinet service (BSCT) provides and aircraft-approved bassinet or cot for transporting babies (INF) on board and may only be booked for LATAM flights.
The service is provided for the purchase of the corresponding seat or for cases where the passenger is entitled to this type of seat as an elite benefit or for the fare paid. In other words, the BSCT service is not charged but is tied to the purchase of a seat, where applicable. Once the seat is confirmed, the Travel Agent must request the Baby Bassinet (BSCT).
Infants must meet the following requirements:
The passenger must be informed that the BSCT will only be installed after takeoff and will be stowed for landing.In case of codeshare flights, it is not applicable to request the service.
- The time to book the service is anywhere between the moment of ticketing and 4 hours prior to flight departure.
- The service will not be confirmed if the seat is not confirmed. If the seat is already occupied, the BSCT service will not be provided.
- Once the passenger pays for the Preferred Seat (or is entitled to it due to elite or fare benefit), the Travel Agent must request the service through a SSR BSCT, and must enter an OSI with infant's weight and height. and other one with the date of birth.
- One SSR code must be entered for each flight segment where the service is requested.
- In case of codeshare flights, it does not apply to request the service.

In case of voluntary changes of flight or route, the service must be requested again taking into consideration the conditions for its confirmation.
