This chapter describes the ground transportation services (buses and trains) offered along with the issuing of LATAM tickets.

    Considerations

    • It is available for passengers holding LATAM flights and tickets.
    • The passenger must arrive at the station 30 minutes before the bus departure and present proof of purchase or boarding pass for the same day, along with their identification document.
    • This service is not allowed for passengers traveling with PETC, AVIH, ESAN or SVAN.

There are four buses and Travel Agents must choose the most convenient according to the arrival or departure time of the flight:

    Reservation

    • The service must be requested up to 48 hours before the departure of the flight.
    • To book the bus segment together with the air segment, you must indicate in the display the station (TEB, CDW, ZRP) where the trip starts or ends.
    • If the passenger already has a ticket issued and wants to add the bus service, the bus segment must always be reserved in "Y" class.

There are external companies to LATAM offering shuttles between these two airports, at a fare per passenger.

Present in both Congonhas (CGH) and Guarulhos (GRU) airports, Airport Bus Service provides daily shuttles between these two airports. In their website you can find details about prices, rules and conditions of use and points of sale, among other information.

Where do I find the buses?

    - Congonhas airport: South wing, on the lower level of the arrival area. Access by going down the ramp in front of the arrivals gate.

    - Guarulhos airport: Terminal 2, in the bus area of the arrivals floor.

    • The cities Stuttgart (ZWS), Nurenberg (ZAQ), Hannover (ZVR), Munich (ZMU) and Hamburg (ZMB) must be booked with their city code. For any other city of Germany, a fictitious code must be used QYG (fictitious city for the Railway Germany).Applies for codeshares between LATAM Holding flights.
    • Does not allow stopovers, just a connecting train on the same day
    • Train fares allow combinations with ADD-ON.
    • Allows a maximum of two coupons or OW.
    • If the ticket is already issued without the train segments, the service can only be added if the fare regulations allow changes. The ticket must be reissued with the train segments and the passenger must pay the penalty and fare differences.
    • The cost of the airfare may reflect an additional cost for train service. The following must be taken into consideration:
      • Train fares vary depending on the route and operator.
      • When re-quoting the fare to include the train service or when modifying a tariff that already includes the train fare can vary meaning the passenger may need to pay a difference, or may receive a refund for the difference.
    • Rail Segments are sold and issued exclusively in connection with an international flight.
    • Rail segments apply to both - outbound and inbound transportation on the indicated route.
    • Refund and change: Once the Rail Segment has been set to "Check-in", a refund and rebooking of the Rail Segment is no longer possible.

Passengers aged 0 or 1 year and 11 months (Infants) travel free of charge.
    • Check-in: Passengers must check-in prior to departure using their first and last name and PNR or e-ticket to receive their train ticket. If several passengers booked on the same PNR use the same rail connection, these passengers (max. 5 people) can check in together and then receive a joint ticket. This means that larger groups need to check-in separately.
    • Endorsement:Train tickets must not be endorsed or altered by LATAM. Otherwise, the documents will be invalidated.
