PASSENGER PROTECTION - Route closure for Sydney (SYD) and Auckland (AKL) airports

Description:

Due to certain restrictions between countries, we inform that the operation will be cancelled until March 14, 2021 for flights between:

 

  • Santiago (SCL) and Auckland (AKL) (⇄)
  • Santiago (SCL) and Sydney (SYD) (⇄)

Passengers flying between SCL - AKL and SCL - SYD

Considerations:

Passengers affected by these cancellations may be eligible for current flexibilities available in CONTINGENCY - Travel solutions for passengers with affected flights according to the availability of flights in the system.

Additionally, passengers who need an alternative endorsement to another company will have only the QATAR (QR) option, subject to the cabin, in the lowest available class of the original cabin, through the involuntary reissue process. In cases of rerouting, it should be given as an option which produces the least possible delay until the final destination.
