PASSENGER PROTECTION - Protection of tickets through latam.com in operational window
Please be informed that a new protection service has been implemented through latam.com. With it, passengers with indirect sales tickets affected during the operational window can change their flights directly on the site (change date/time as permitted by the commercial policy).
APPLICABILITY:
- LATAM will notify cancellations and advance/delay of flights operated by LATAM.
- An e-mail will be sent to the address registered in the reservation, indicating the flight affected and providing a link to the “My Trips” page in latam.com, where passengers will have the option to change the date/time within the time limits established in the policy (There is no option for requesting a refund).
- The self-protection option will also be available through Flight Status and My Trips.
- This option will be available in all homepages and for all LATAM routes (not valid for codeshare flights, except codeshares between LATAM flights).
- It will be available for "oneway" tickets and for round trip tickets.
- Valid for reservations of up to 7 passengers (with tickets issued). Not valid for group reservations.
- Reservations with INF and CHD passengers may also be protected through the site.
- Tickets will be revalidated automatically.
RESTRICTIONS:
- Passengers who have already checked their baggage or are in transit will not be able to self-protect through the site.
- Passengers with special services of manual confirmation will not be eligible for this service.
