Face Mask use on LATAM flights

Description

Following all the recommendations of international organizations such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the World Health Organization (WHO) and Governments, the policy of using masks on flights operated by LATAM is updated.

Considerations

Recommend that passengers carry a face mask when the requirements of the country of arrival, transit or operator requires it.

 

The mandatory use of masks will depend on the regulations required by the flight operator country. The LATAM Group has operations in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay and Peru.

 

The masks allowed are (must completely cover the nose and mouth):



  • Traditional Surgical
  • N95 and KN95 (without valves)
  • Non-crafted cloth masks, in domestic markets where permitted.
