We would like to inform our travel agents that since April 14, 2018 a new tax has been applied for passengers to the Dominican Republic traveling from 25 April 2018, with the purpose of promoting local tourism. 

Considerations:

• The tax is charged at the time the ticket is issued and is identified in the GDS by code L8
• The value of the tax is USD10.00
• The tax is applicable for all tickets issued outside the Dominican Republic, whose travel begins outside and bound for the Dominican Republic
• Tax non refundable (except Dominicans and Dominicans, residents of the Dominican Republic and diplomatic and consular officials accredited in the country, as long as their duties last and they enter on an official mission)
