ROUTES - Operation Wamos Air in B747

Please be informed that flights between Santiago (SCL) and Easter Island (IPC) (LA841 / LA842) on Thursday June 21 and 28 and July 5, 2018, will be operated by Wamos Air in the Boeing 747-400 material. 

So the following points should be considered for these flights:
Sale and Special Services
The flights operated by Wamos Air will retain the original LATAM flight numbers (LA841/LA842) and will show in the system with the LA designator as LAXXX "OPERATED BY WAMOS AIR FOR LATAM AIRLINES GROUP"; this aircraft 747-400 will be displayed as equipment 744.

 Special services will maintain the current LATAM standards and conditions, with the following exceptions:

Seats: Seat sales are suspended on all flights operated by Wamos Air.

CBBG: The CBBG service will be suspended during this period.

BSCT: This service will not be available on flights operated by Wamos Air.

UMNR: 6 UM will be accepted. 

Wheel chairs WCHS, WCHC codes are not available for passengers traveling in Business Cabin. 

All other special services and assistance will abide by the current standards for each route.  


Flights will continue to operate at the departure and arrival terminals currently utilized by LATAM.

Passengers who are protected on a flight operated by Wamos Air: 

Passengers who do not accept the protection offered in the reservation may choose one of the following options WITHOUT PENALTY and regardless of the item penalties:

a. CHANGE IN FLIGHT/DATE/REROUTING subject to cabin within a range of -7/+15 days from the original travel date.

b. CHANGE OF DESTINATION (without penalty but airfare cost differences will be charged according to availability when performing the transaction)

c. REFUNDS (without penalty, applies for all unused ticket coupons and unused ancillaries)

(*) Change subject to cabin availability on LATAM flights implies that the travel agent must make the reservation in the original booking class. If the class is not available, the agent must reserve in the lowest booking class available in the same cabin of the LATAM flight and complete the involuntary ticket reissue. In other words, it is no longer necessary to contact the LATAM Sales Support Agent to request the original booking class.

For changes to the date and/or route, enter an SSR CKIN in the reservation and in the Endorsements/Restrictions box enter the text: INVOL DUE TO CHG EQP. When processing the refund, enter the same message.
