Local Policies BR - Non-Consecutive Use of Coupons (Voluntary No Show - R400)

Description:

The procedure for Voluntary No Show (R400) has been modified for Travel Agencies. SeeConsiderations” for further details

Scope:

Voluntary No Show (R400) procedure for Travel Agencies in the Brazil market.

Implementation Date:

Immediate

Considerations:

The reservation for the return segment in the Voluntary No Show process (R400) is now managed by the issuing Travel Agency, without the need for local agency support (Single Support).

Accordingly, Travel Agencies are now autonomous and responsible for managing the entire process.

Travel Agencies are now responsible for:

  • Deleting the coupon for the outbound portion of the ticket.
  • Inserting the corresponding back-up notes in the reservation (PNR):

                    - OSI: PAX DECLINES TO FLY (Flt #) AND HK (Flt #)

                    - SSR CHECK-IN (CKIN): BOARDING ALLOWED DUE NO SHOW R400

Excluding the outbound portion will not create a TL (time limit) in the reservation. This will only happen when a new segment is added.

The passenger must not be checked in at the time of deleting the outbound segment.

In the case of outbound connections, the procedure is applied to the entire outbound journey, never partially.

Applicable only to 100% domestic Brazil routes, regardless of where the ticket was issued.

The unused outbound segment must be refunded in accordance with the reservation cancellation regulation and through the method used to request the refund to the agency. It must not be re-calculated or reissued once the segment has been deleted and the CKIN OSI and SSR mentioned above have been inserted.
