ROUTE - Postponement of the operation between Lima (LIM) and Montego Bay (MBJ)

This is to inform that, due to commercial decisions, the operation between Lima (LIM), Peru, and Montego Bay (MBJ), Jamaica, will be suspended as from 01 July 2019 and resumed on 02 December 2019. The new flights are already available for sale.

 

Customers with direct and indirect sale tickets are being notified LATAM’s centralized channels: email, SMS, LATAM App.

 

Flights cancelled*:

LA2464 LIM-MBJ

LA2465 MBJ-LIM

Protection proposed:

Protection on American Airlines (AA) via Miami (MIA):

  •        Offer this option first only if the passenger does not require a US visa or if s/he commits to obtain a US visa.
  • Commercial tickets must be protected on AA flights in class S.
  • Award tickets must be protected on AA flights in class T.

 

Protection with Copa Airlines (CM) via Panama (PTY)

  • Protect in the lowest class available.
  • Offer this option to all customers who do not have a US visa or cannot or do not wish to obtain it.
  • Offer this option if the classes permitted are not available on AA.
  • Offer to class T if the equivalent award class is not available on AA.

Reservations:

Protecting LATAM flights are being centrally incorporated into direct and indirect sale reservations.

 

If protection does not appear in their reservation, passengers may be protected as indicated above.

When reissuing, in Ticket Endorsements box enter:

SKED CHG DUE TO LIM MBJ CNLD

Ancillaries:

Subject to involuntary refund.

Important:

If a customer is not satisfied with the proposed alternative itinerary, s/he may request a change or refund as per the terms defined in the Protection Policy of LATAM Trade.
