PASSENGER PROTECTION - Cancellation of routes to/from Curaçao (CUR)

We inform you that, due to adjustments to the flight schedule, the route between Bogotá (BOG) and Curaçao (CUR) will cease operations from May 3, 2026 onward.

Canceled flights:	Starting May 3 and onward, the following flights will be canceled: - LA 4970 BOG → CUR - LA 4971 CUR → BOG The flights are already closed for sale and the reservations have been canceled in the systems.
Proposed protection:	Travel agents will have the following protection alternatives: Passengers with travel already started: protection on a nonstop BOG ⇄ CUR flight operated by Avianca (AV). Passengers with travel not yet started: they may reroute at no cost to/from Aruba (AUA) or San Andres (ADZ) on LATAM flights.
Reservation management:	- Passengers who accept the reroute option to San Andres (ADZ) or Aruba (AUA): Protection must be provided on LATAM-marketed and LATAM-operated flights, in the same booking class or the lowest available class within the original cabin. - Passengers who choose the protection alternative with Avianca (AV): Protection for the BOG ⇄ CUR segment will be provided in the lowest available class within the original cabin, on Avianca-marketed and Avianca-operated flights. The segment to/from Bogotá must be protected on LATAM-marketed and LATAM-operated flights, in the same booking class or the lowest available class within the original cabin. Reissuance will be processed as involuntary, maintaining the original fare basis and fare regulation. If the passenger decides not to travel, they may request an involuntary refund of the ticket and/or associated ancillaries. Ancillaries:	Ancillaries will receive the same treatment as tickets. For protections on flights operated by other airlines, ancillaries are only eligible for refund.
