PASSENGER PROTECTION - Suspension of CXJ ⇄ GRU routes


Update: We would like to inform you that LATAM Airlines Brasil continues to operate normally on the routes Caxias do Sul (CXJ) ⇄ São Paulo (CGH). Therefore, the route to/from Caxias do Sul (CXJ) operates according to the following scenarios:

  • Via Guarulhos Airport (GRU): Operated by Voepass (2Z)
  • Via Congonhas Airport (CGH): Operated by LATAM Airlines Brasil

Canceled flights:

As of March 31, 2024, the following flights will be canceled.

  • LA 3278 (GRU ⇄ CXJ)
  • LA 3279 (CXJ ⇄ GRU)

Proposed protection:

Protection on flights operated by Voepass / Full refund of the ticket without penalty.

Reservation management:

The protection should be done based on the availability of the original cabin, in the same class or, failing that, the lowest available.

 

The reissue will be conducted involuntarily, retaining the original Fare basis and fare construction.

  • São Paulo (GRU) ⇄ Caxias do Sul (CXJ) route : Protection on Voepass flight 2Z 2205.
  • Caxias do Sul (CXJ) ⇄ São Paulo (GRU) route: Protection on Voepass flight 2Z 2206.
  • Full refund of the ticket without penalty (process as involuntary refund). 

The Caxias do Sul (CXJ) ⇄ São Paulo (CGH) routes have not been modified and continue to be operated by LATAM Airlines Brasil.

Ancillaries:

Due to operational adjustments aimed at making connections within Brazil more efficient, we would like to inform you that LATAM will no longer operate the Caxias do Sul (CXJ) ⇄ São Paulo (GRU) route. As a result of this change, the route will be operated by Voepass Airlines under the existing codeshare agreement.

Canceled flights:

As of March 31, 2024, the following flights will be canceled.

 

  • LA 3278 (GRU ⇄ CXJ)
  • LA 3279 (CXJ ⇄ GRU)

Protection on flights operated by Voepass / Full refund of the ticket without penalty.
