    Mandatory 2FA to create new users in the NDC Portal

    Dear Travel Partner,

     

    At LATAM Airlines, we continuously work to raise NDC safety standards. Therefore, we are announcing an important operational change that will take effect on Monday, March 30.

     

    New security condition

    From that date onward, user creation within the NDC Portal will be strictly aligned with the security settings of the performing profile. This functionality is restricted to those with General administrator or Supervisor access levels.

    The key change is the following:
    1. If an General administrator or Supervisor user does not have a mobile phone number registered for Two Factor Authentication (2FA), the user creation function will be disabled (the "Create User" button will not be visible).

    2. To regain the ability to register new collaborators, the managing profile (Administrator or Supervisor) must first complete the information associated with the mobile phone number and validate this contact information (2FA). 
    Why is it mandatory?

    This information is mandatory to ensure that those authorized to create users have the necessary layers of protection, thus protecting the security of our platform and the integrity of its operations.
