GROUPS - New Model for Groups

Description:

This is to inform about the following Group changes:

  1. Elimination of prepayment for ad-hoc groups from BSP Travel Agencies at all POS, except Brazil and USA. It will be replaced by an ADM fee.
  2. The reservation will occupy inventory space from the moment a penalty is charged according to the date of cancellation.

Scope:

Ad-hoc groups of BSP Travel Agencies (Does not apply to Brazil and the United States).

Implementation date:

June 14 for Chile, Canada, Mexico and Oceania

July 1 for Europe

June 1, 2021 for all other POS

Considerations

1. The ADM fee for cancellation will be a percentage of the fare and will vary depending on the route and the cancellation date:

Route

Cancellation date:

Reduction allowed

Penalty depending on cancellation date

DOM/REG

61 days or more before flight departure

100% pax

None

Between 31 and 60 days before flight departure

20% pax

For each additional passenger to the allowed reduction: 25% of the value of the fare (Net + Q)

30 days or less before flight departure

Not permitted

100% of the fare value (Net+Q)

Long Haul

91 days or more before flight departure

100% pax

None

Between the 31st and 90 days before the flight departure

20% pax

For each additional passenger to the allowed reduction: 25% of the value of the fare (Net + Q)

30 days or less before flight departure

Not permitted

100% of the fare value (Net+Q)

3. The Group reservation will be left in GN status until the day penalties are applied. From that day on, the reservation will be placed in HK status. This does not mean the negotiated fare may change or that the Group will not be confirmed until that day. The originally negotiated space and fare will be honored along the entire process.

The reserves will have the following mark "NEW AGREEMENT GROUP", to be able to identify those that correspond to this new flow.

Exception:

NO BSP Agencies do not suffer modifications.

Asia, the United States and Brazil maintain their current process.
