    LATAM Train and Bus Services: learn how LATAM’s integrated ground and rail services work in specific routes across the U.S., Brazil, Germany, and Italy. Find out how to book, modify, and inform passengers about service conditions. 
      • The service consists on a free bus transfer between JFK airport and Union City (CDW), Patterson (TEB) and Newark (ZRP) bus stations in New Jersey.
      • It is available for passengers holding LATAM flights and tickets.
      • The passenger must arrive at the station 30 minutes before the bus departure and present proof of purchase or boarding pass for the same day, along with their identification document.
      • This service is not allowed for passengers traveling with PETC, AVIH, ESAN or SVAN.
      • There are four buses and Travel Agents must choose the most convenient according to the arrival or departure time of the flight:

      Reservation: 
      • The service must be requested up to 48 hours before the departure of the flight. 
      • To book the bus segment together with the air segment, you must indicate in the display the station (TEB, CDW, ZRP) where the trip starts or ends. 
      • If the passenger already has a ticket issued and wants to add the bus service, the bus segment must always be reserved in "Y" class.

      There are external companies to LATAM offering shuttles between these two airports, at a fare per passenger.

      Present in both Congonhas (CGH) and Guarulhos (GRU) airports, Airport Bus Service provides daily shuttles between these two airports. In their website you can find details about prices, rules and conditions of use and points of sale, among other information.

      Where do I find the buses?

      • Congonhas airport: South wing, on the lower level of the arrival area. Access by going down the ramp in front of the arrivals gate.
      • Guarulhos airport: Terminal 2, in the bus area of the arrivals floor.

      LATAM delivers the "Deutsche Bahn" train service in Germany, which consists on a round or one way trip  by train from Frankfurt to any destination within Germany.

       

      Characteristics

      • Applies for any public fare on LATAM flights (Adultos, child and infants) and LATAM tickets except for FRA-MAD fares.
      • All train destinations within Germany must be booked using the fictitious code QYG (fictitious city for Railway Germany). The code "QYG" allows you to leave the train station pending and select the connection and train station when checking in for the train.
      • The train must be booked together with an international flight.If the ticket is issued without the train coupons, the train service cannot be added.Does not allow stopovers, just a connecting train on the same day.
      • The booking classes for the train segment are: Economy: Y; Premium Business: F.
      • Children between the ages of 2 and 11 are entitled to a discounted INF or CHD fare, provided that the fare basis has the discount code. Children between 0 and 1 year and 11 months travel free.
      • Check-in:. Passengers must check in before departure with their full name and their PNR or ticket number to obtain their train ticket, by accessing www.rail-checkin.com.       • Endorsement:Train tickets must not be endorsed or altered. Otherwise, the documents will be invalidated.
      • Changes: Changes are subject to fare regulations. When making a change, the customer must check in again for the train segment. Once the train segment has "Check-in" status, it will no longer be possible to make a refund or changes to the train segment.

      LATAM extends the train service in several cities in Italy through Trenitalia. It is available as a codeshare segment, identified as LA* operated by Trenitalia (9B). The services include one-way (OW) or round-trip (RT) trips, connecting with LATAM flights.

       

      Characteristics:

      • Train reservations must be made at least 36 hours before the trip.
      • Reservations are not accepted less than 2 hours before the departure time.Applies to codeshares only between LATAM Holding flights.
      • Stopovers are not allowed, only train changes (connection) on the same day.
      • The train must be booked together with an international flight.If the ticket is issued without the train coupons, the train service cannot be added.
      • Children between the ages of 2 and 11 are entitled to an INF or CHD discounted fare, provided that the fare basis has the discount code. Children between 0 and 1 year and 11 months travel free.
      • Train schedules: The displayed schedules correspond to the actual departure and arrival time of the train.
      • Check-in: From 72 hours before the train departure, the passenger enters their first and last name and one of the following data: PNR locator or; electronic ticket number: https://www.accesrail.com/ (check-in option).
      • Documentation:

        • Passengers who do not have their Trenitalia ticket printed or downloaded on their mobile phone will not be able to board the train.
      • Changes and refunds: Subject to fare regulations. Once the train segment has passed to "Check-in", it will not be possible to make changes or refunds to the train segment.
      • Ticket validity: Validity of the air ticket
      • SSR: Issue plate 9B/450 insert "SSR CTCE" in the reservation, so that the passenger receives an email reminder about check-in.
