ROUTES - Suspension of the Boston (BOS) ⇄ Guarulhos (GRU) route


We would like to inform you that, due to operational adjustments, the route between Boston and Guarulhos will cease to operate from January 5 to March 25, 2025. During this period, flights will be automatically canceled in reservations. However, it is important to note that this cancellation will include protections on Delta Air lines flights, thanks to our Joint Venture agreement, allowing us to offer you an immediate solution.

Flights canceled:

Route: 

- GRU ⇄ BOS ⇄ GRU

Flights: 

- LA 6372 GRUBOS

- LA 6371 BOSGRU

Dates:

 -The operation will cease to operate starting January 6, 2025.

Cancellation of reservations: 

- On November 2, 2024, we will begin the process of protecting passengers on flights operated by Delta Air lines (DL) in the respective cabins.

 

Protection offered:

On November 2, 2024, we will cancel our operation through the systems. The protection for passengers on the affected flights will be automatically transferred to flights operated by Delta Air lines (DL) in their respective cabins.

The protective flights for this route on the specified date are:

- GRU ⇄ BOS - Will be protected on codeshare flight LA* 6372

- BOS ⇄ GRU - Will be protected on codeshare flight LA* 6371

If the passenger does not accept the proposed flight alternative, they may avail themselves of the flexibilities defined in the Passenger Protection chapter.

 

Reservations:

Protection on DL Flights

The protection should be carried out on flights LA6372 and LA6371, according to availability in the original cabin, in the lowest available class. The reissuance will be done involuntarily, maintaining the original fare basis and fare construction.

Mileage/Points Accumulation

The accumulation of LATAM Pass miles/points and other benefits linked to the category will be maintained on the flights; however, it will not be possible to request an upgrade with segments.

Special Services

Passengers with the following special services should be managed as follows:

- Unaccompanied Minor Service (UMNR): This service is not available on the protective flight with Delta Air lines (DL). Therefore, the travel agent should process the ticket refund and proceed with the purchase and request of the corresponding service with our partner.

- Pet in Cabin Service (PETC): This service is not available on the protective flight with Delta Air lines (DL). Therefore, the travel agent should process the ticket refund and proceed with the purchase and request of the corresponding service with our partner.

- MAAS Service: Can be requested on the codeshare flight subject to the service rules of this operator.

- Assistance Animal Service (SVAN): The travel agent should make the request directly with our partner, using the Delta Air lines (DL) reservation code.

- Bassinet Service (BSCT): The travel agent should make the request directly with our partner, using the Delta Airlines (DL) reservation code.

- Wheelchair Services (WCHR, WCHS, WCHC): Requests can be entered on protective Delta flights; however, customers with specific medical requests should contact our partner directly.

Passengers who do not accept the proposed protection may use the same flexibilities defined in Sales | Passenger Protection.

 

When reissuing, insert the following note under Ticket Endorsements:

INVOL REROUTE (flight)(date) CNLD. 

 
 

Ancillaries:

- Seat selection, LATAM+ (EMD): The ancillaries must be sent to return.

- Bags (EMD): Will be automatically transferred on Delta flights.
