We are pleased to inform you that, starting January 22, 2025, a new codeshare flight alliance between LATAM Airlines and Aerolíneas Argentinas will be available in the distribution systems.

This codeshare operation will commence on February 1, 2025, offering our customers more options and connectivity for their travels.

The sale of these flights will be enabled for LATAM on plates 045, 957, 035, 544, and 692.

Due to air traffic restrictions, the issuance of itineraries to/from Chile that include LA* codeshare flights operated by AR are not allowed.

Scope:

Issuance of tickets on LATAM marketing flights operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas on plates 045, 957, 035, 544, and 692.

Considerations:

The LA* flights operated by AR are as follows:

Special services available on LA* flights

-WCHR - Wheelchair Passenger who can climb stairs.

-INFT - Reservations with Infant passengers.

-CHLD - Reservations with Child passengers.

Services NOT available from a reservation issued by LATAM with flights operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR)

The following special services CANNOT be managed from a reservation issued by LATAM that includes flights operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR), due to technical and/or commercial limitations. Below, we detail how to proceed in these cases:

1. The customer must request it directly from the operator Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR) according to their policies

-MEDA: Medical Cases.

-SVAN: Service Animal.

-ESAN: Emotional Support Animals.

-PPOC: Personal portable oxygen (Portable oxygen concentrator). Requires MEDIF.

-DPNA: Passengers with special assistance needs.

-WCMP: Passenger is traveling with a manual wheelchair.

-WCBD: Wheelchair powered by dry batteries and gel battery (non-spillable).

-WCHC: Wheelchair -  Passenger who cannot walk.

-WCHS: Wheelchair -  Passenger who cannot climb stairs.

-BLND: Passengers with visual impairment.

-DEAF: Passengers with hearing impairment.

-DEPA: DEPU: Deportee transport.

I-NAD: Inadmissible passengers.

-BSCT: Baby Bassinet: Cradle for transporting babies (infants)

2. The following SSRs CANNOT be offered on itineraries with codeshare flights (LATAM marketing, operated by AR):

-AVIH: Animals in hold.

-PETC: Animals in cabin.

-CBBG: Cabin Baggage - Additional seat for cabin baggage

-EXST: Extra seat.

-WCBW: Wheelchair powered by dry, gel, spillable battery.

-UMNR: Unaccompanied minor.

-TEEN: Teenage passenger.

Seats

Advance seat selection will not be available on Aerolíneas Argentinas flights.

Check-in

Check-in for AR flights and LA* flights operated by AR, is not available on LATAM's digital channels; passengers must check-in through Aerolíneas Argentinas' digital channels or on the day of the flight at the airport.

carry-on bag

The operator's baggage allowance applies. Information available on the Aerolíneas Argentinas website.

Checked baggage

The baggage policy of the most relevant carrier of the itinerary (MSC, Most Significant Carrier) will apply, including the exceptions governed by the DOT. If the MSC corresponds to a codeshare flight, the baggage policy of the marketing carrier will be followed.

Other baggage charges

The operator's charging policy applies.
