Animal transportation Due to restrictions on the entry of animals originating from South America to Curaçao the island, the following services are not available: - ESAN (Emotional Support Animal) - PETC (Pets in Cabin) - AVIH (Pets in Hold) Unaccompanied Minor Service (UMNR) The Unaccompanied Minor (UMNR) service is mandatory for all minors between 8 and 14 years old traveling alone. Service Animal (SVAN) Service available in accordance with LATAM policies and the following requirements established by the authority: - The passenger must contact the Curaçao Government Veterinary Service https://uovz.cw/ to request pre-approval for entry. - Once pre-approval is granted and provided the SVAN meets all requirements, the owner must complete an application form and submit it along with all required Health and Safety documentation for evaluation. - In addition, a refundable import fee must be paid as a guarantee, which will be refunded to the passenger upon returning to their country. - Once all documentation has been verified and approved, entry will be authorized, and an import permit will be sent to the passenger by email. - This process must be completed at least 72 hours before arrival. - The passenger must carry all documentation at hand upon arrival for inspection by Customs. - Acceptance of boarding will be subject to the presentation of all the required documentation. Other special services follow LATAM’s standards. Immigration Electronic Data Card All passengers must complete the Immigration Electronic Data Card form on the DICARD CURACAO portal within 7 days prior to the flight and before arrival. Upon entering Curaçao, they must present the previously completed form, either in digital or printed format. Curaçao residents are exempt from completing the form. |
