According to the current Chilean Regulation and with immediate effectiveness, the mandatory use of muzzle for assistance dogs (SVAN / ESAN) is eliminated in LATAM Airlines Chile flights, which start operating with the same standard as the rest of LATAM flights. This implies that at the protocol level the passenger should be recommended to carry the muzzle but only use it if necessary. The use of the strap and the harness on board remains unchanged.
