FARES - New Branded Fares

Description

Starting from October 10, 2023, new Brands are being introduced, starting with domestic markets of Chile, Ecuador and Peru. With this change, the Brands PLUS (except for routes from the United States) and TOP are no longer available in the fare display and will be replaced as follows:

  • The Brand Plus (SE) will only be available for routes departing from the United States.
  • The Brand Light (SL) goes from having a partial refund to not allowing a refund.
  • All fares allow changes before the flight departure.
  • Seat selection is no longer a fare attribute and must be purchased, except for brand Full and Premium cabin.
  • The refund percentage for the brands is simplified, with REF at 100% and NONREF at 0%.
  • Upgrades are available for all brands, except Basic. For the brand Light, only for flights with origin and destination within South America and Central America, except for those originating in Brazil. Permitted routes: Chile, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil (as a destination only), Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Aruba, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Cuba, Costa Rica, and Cancun.
