Description:

Starting July 1, 2024, passengers who decide not to use one of the ticket coupons on domestic routes will no longer be required to give advance notice.

Scope:

Passengers who decide not to use one of the segments on a ticket with 100% domestic routes.

Considerations: 

In cases where a passenger decides not to board on any of the segments of their itinerary, they may use the remaining portion of the ticket without the need to notify under certain conditions:

1. It applies to itineraries with 100% LATAM flights on domestic routes, it does not apply to codeshare flights.
2. The refund of the unused coupon is processed  according to fare regulations (applying the penalty of the fare component and deducting the flown portion of the ticket). 
3. If the rest of the itinerary is used, no changes will be allowed on the unused coupon. If the passenger has decided not to fly a segment and has not yet flown any of the segments of the ticket, the complete ticket can be reissued only if the fare regulation allows it and for the route that will actually be flown, therefore:

3. If the remaining itinerary has a rescheduling, protection can only be provided on the segments that remain to be flown, and the unused segment (No Show) must be left unchanged.

   1. If the outbound flight (not flown) DOES NOT ALLOW CHANGES AFTER DEPARTURE, reissuance will not be possible.
   2. If the outbound flight (not flown) ALLOWS CHANGES AFTER DEPARTURE, the reissuance may be made, charging applicable fines and fare differences.

On domestic routes in Peru, the use of unused coupons is governed by the conditions of the Consumer Code for endorsement or postponement.

With this update the rest of the itinerary will not be removed from the reservation.
