In this section, you’ll find the main information about charter flight contracting with LATAM — from quotation to ticket issuance. Learn about commercial conditions, payment methods, baggage, and onboard services to offer your customers an exclusive and personalized experience. |
This involves the sale of a flight, whether domestic or international, that is fully contracted by a travel agency or company to transport a group of passengers to a specific destination. It is an exclusive flight with a predetermined date and time according to the contract, not available for regular sale and not part of the usual itinerary.
Whether you need to transport a professional or university sports team, a group of business professionals, or a VIP touring band, LATAM Airlines can meet your needs through charter flights. Our charter flight services are designed to provide customized and tailored solutions to your specific requirements.
LATAM offers a range of benefits for those who charter a flight. Here are some of the key benefits:
To request charter flight quotations, Travel Agencies must contact their designated sales executive. Once the request is received, the sales executive will work on the quotation, assessing its feasibility and providing the price to the client. It is important to submit the request at least 3 months in advance of the flight departure date.
General quotation characteristics:
Once the client accepts the proposal and Commercial Planning approves the feasibility of the flight, the sales executive must request the client's signature on the contract, which becomes valid once it has been signed by both parties.
The payment method for the charter flight will be indicated in the quotation. Payments for charter flights must be received by LATAM Airlines before the flight departure date. It is important to note that all transactions are conducted in US dollars (USD), except in Brazil.
The agency is responsible for providing complete passenger details at least 3 business days prior to the flight departure so that the Global Sales Support team can proceed with ticket issuance. A single ticket called the Master Ticket is issued, covering all passengers on the flight.
However, there is an exception: due to legal restrictions in the United States, a Master Ticket cannot be issued for routes with origin, destination, and/or connection in the US. In these cases, an individual ticket must be issued for each passenger.
In general, the baggage allowance is part of the sales conditions and aircraft capacity and does not incur excess baggage charges, except for tourism charter flights operated by LATAM Airlines Brazil, which have a standard baggage allowance of 1 piece up to 23 kilograms.
If your clients require any special meals during the charter flight, we recommend informing the LATAM sales executive at the time of requesting your quotation. Our team will analyze your request and make every effort to meet your needs.
Check-in is handled by airport staff directly. The Global Sales Support Team, responsible for charter issuance and passenger manifest, will provide all passenger details and any special seat requests to the airport teams.
Passengers are required to collect their boarding passes upon arrival at the airport.
