A group reservation is defined as a booking that includes 10 or more passengers. All group quotes and bookings are created exclusively by LATAM, and prices are based on publicly available fares, not private fares. The group name must be entered correctly in the request, following these guidelines:
LATAM Airlines Group S.A. can only guarantee flights operated or marketed by LATAM Airlines Group S.A.
|
For all markets, LATAM will provide the net fare, valid at the time of ticket issuance. This fare does not include taxes, and a service fee will apply according to the rules defined for each market.
In markets where authorized, the group booking may be transferred to the travel agency, or the agency may claim it in its system, provided the booking has been confirmed.
All LATAM group bookings must comply with fare regulations throughout every stage of the process (sales and post-sales).
Group tickets are non-refundable once issued.
It is mandatory that all reservations include:
Non-IATA agencies must provide their LATAM representative with all required information before ticket issuance.
Corporate Security and Accompanying Passengers
Certain group reservations must be approved by LATAM Corporate Security, which will determine the specific boarding requirements.
For groups traveling with minors, the following adult-to-minor ratios will apply.
| Age |
Number of companions per minor
|
|---|---|
| 2 to 6 years |
1 companion for every 4 minors
|
| 7 to 11 years |
1 companion for every 20 minors
|
The GSS agent must enter an SSR CKIN in the booking, indicating the name of the passenger responsible for the group.
Example: PAX JUAN PÉREZ – GROUP LEADER SCOUT TROOP COLEGIO APOQUINDO
Passengers with Disabilities
Group requests that include passengers with disabilities will be governed by the same conditions applicable to individual passengers, provided they are able to:
Passengers who do not meet these conditions must travel with a companion, in accordance with the definitions established in the section Passengers with Disabilities or Special Assistance Needs.
Travel agencies must submit group fare requests through the following website: https://www.serieslatam.com

IATA Agencies (BSP/ARC): Each canceled seat will be subject to a penalty applied through an ADM (Agency Debit Memo). The amount of the penalty will depend on the cancellation notice period, the fare value, and the booked route.
| Route | Cancellation date: | Reduction allowed |
Penalty depending on cancellation date
|
|---|---|---|---|
DOM/REG |
61 days or more before flight departure | 100% pax | None |
| Between 31 and 60 days before flight departure | Not permitted |
25% of the value of the fare (Net + Q)
|
|
| 30 days or less before flight departure | Not permitted |
100% of the fare value (Net+Q)

Long Haul |

These penalties will be explicitly mentioned in the contract that the agency signs when accepting the Group, so no unjustified ADM dispute will be accepted. In cases where a waiver is applied for the value of the ADM, the waiver must be requested before making the dispute, and include the waiver folio number in the reason for the dispute.
NON IATA Agencies: each canceled space will be subject to a penalty that will be taken out of the deposit amount. The penalty calculation will be based on the following table:
| Route | Cancellation date: | Reduction allowed |

61 days or more before flight departure | 100% pax | None |
| Between 31 and 60 days before flight departure | Not permitted |

Any reduction of passengers will be subject to a fine equivalent to the Total Payment (the refund of the Total Payment is not made).

Starting May 1, when issuing a LATAM group or series in any GDS, a new concept labeled “surcharge” will appear, shown as tax YR.
This YR surcharge must not be charged for group or series issuances.
