    This section explains LATAM’s travel policies for teenagers, including age requirements, fare conditions, and seating rules. It helps travel agents identify when minors can travel alone or must be accompanied by an adult, ensuring bookings comply with LATAM’s safety and partner airline regulations. 
      • Teenagers may not travel in the care of CHD or INF passengers, except if they are their parents.
      • On itineraries with OLA and/or codeshare flights, minors who have not yet turned 15 years of age must travel accompanied by a responsible adult,except inItineraries with flights in Qatar (QR) the minor must be 16 years old or older to travel alone
      • For minors between 12 and 17 years old traveling with an accompanying adult, the informational SSR TEEN is added.
      • For minors between 12 and 17 years old traveling alone, the informational SSR YPTA is added.
      • They pay 100% on all rates.
      • Minors traveling with an accompanying adult  must be seated in the seat next to the responsible adult.
      • They cannot be placed in emergency exit rows if they are under 15 years old.

      We recommend informing the client that they should always inform themselves about the legal requirements and documentation for transporting the minor in the countries of departure and arrival.

      The documentation required in Colombia to accommodate a minor traveling alone or without their parents or legal guardians in a hotel in the event of a flight delay or cancellation.
