We inform that restrictions are established on the use of batteries or portable chargers (power banks) during the flight and on their storage in the aircraft cabin.
| Description: | With immediate effect, the air transport of batteries or portable chargers (power banks) exceeding 100 Wh is prohibited. For devices that do not exceed 100 Wh each, a maximum limit of two units per person is established and they must be carried as personal belongings of passengers and/or crew. Passengers and/or crew members traveling with portable batteries or chargers must consider the following: - The use of power banks on board as a power source is not permitted. Their use is prohibited throughout the entire flight - Both portable chargers (power banks) and spare lithium batteries may only be carried in carry-on baggage (small luggage) and must be placed under the seat in front of you. They are not allowed to be stored in the overhead compartments of the cabin. - In cases where carry-on baggage is sent to the hold, it is mandatory for the passenger to inform the airport staff about the transport of the portable charger/battery and to place it in the bag they will carry in the cabin. |
