Considerations:

The requirements for the transportation of perishable food as checked baggage are as follows:

• Perishable food must be packaged in a leak-proof and odor-proof container.
• In the case of fish, crustaceans, and other seafood products, they must additionally be placed inside a thermal bag or foam box lined internally and externally with a sturdy plastic bag. The ice must be in gel form or placed in airtight plastic bags.

At the airports in Brazil, customers will be asked about the contents they are transporting, and if necessary, they may be requested to open their luggage for inspection.

If the packaging does not meet the aforementioned requirements, they will not be allowed for boarding.
