Dear Agency, Expanding the options for selling air transportation services, on May 1st, 2023, we launched NDC by LATAM, a distribution technology that has proven to be an innovative option increasingly adopted by airlines to improve access to their services and inventory. We want to continue supporting your adoption process and keep you informed about some important updates we will be implementing. Update of the Distribution Cost Recovery Surcharge for GDS EDIFACT (EDIFACT-DCRS) The Distribution Cost Recovery Surcharge (EDIFACT-DCRS) is a fee designed to recover the cost LATAM Group has when travel agencies use GDS EDIFACT (legacy) technology. Since July 1st, 2024, the EDIFACT-DCRS value has been 13 USD per coupon, regardless of the GDS used. Starting on May 12th, 2025, LATAM Group will update the EDIFACT-DCRS amounts. A different charge will apply depending on the GDS used, with the goal of recovering as close as possible the cost that LATAM has for each EDIFACT booking made by travel agencies. The terms and conditions of the EDIFACT-DCRS for tickets issued in GDS channel via EDIFACT will be adjusted as follows:

*For a complete list of countries considered in each group, please visit NDC by LATAM Access to NDC by LATAM through the Sabre, Amadeus and Travelport GDS and update of the Distribution Cost Recovery Surcharge for GDS NDC (NDC-DCRS) In an effort to continue expanding options for selling our air transportation services, on February 26th, 2025 we launched the alternative to access NDC by LATAM via Sabre GDS. Additionally, we are excited to announce that soon travel agencies will be able to access NDC by LATAM content through Amadeus and now also Travelport GDS. This will provide additional alternatives for accessing LATAM's services and inventory, alongside the other options for connecting to NDC by LATAM (API, NDC Portal, and Certified Aggregators). Similar to the cost recovery fee for tickets issued in GDS EDIFACT (EDIFACT-DCRS), a cost recovery fee will apply for tickets issued in NDC (NDC-DCRS) made through Sabre, Amadeus and Travelport as follow:

The NDC-DCRS will be 100% refundable as long as the fare allows it and the cancellation is made before the flight date. Access via Sabre has been available since February 26th, 2025. As for Amadeus and Travelport, we are jointly working on an estimated launch date which will be announced soon. We would like to remind you that tickets issued through the direct NDC by LATAM connection options (API, NDC Portal) and through certified Aggregators are not subject to any NDC-DCRS charges.
