On July 1, 2026, the Trenitalia (LA/9B) ticket sales agreement in conjunction with a LATAM ticket ends.

Train reservation: All destinations within Germany must be booked with the dummy code QYG (fictitious city for Railway Germany). The code “QYG” allows the train station to be left pending and selected at the time of train check-in.
The passenger receives the train ticket in their email, which will be requested once on board the train, along with their identity document and air ticket.
As soon as the passenger has checked in, the train ticket will be valid for any train on the selected route and day of travel.
Since March 2026, sales of the Trenitalia service have been suspended; however, for passengers who issued their tickets before March 2026 and have the train service confirmed in their itinerary, the process is as follows:
Passengers with train service for travel from July 1, 2026:
Passengers who have the Italy train segment confirmed in their itinerary for travel on or after July 1, 2026 will have the train segment canceled and will be re-accommodated with a flight segment to travel with ITA Airways (AZ).
The change will be made with no penalty, in the lowest available booking class in ITA’s (AZ) Economy cabin. The ticket will be reissued as involuntary, maintaining the original fare basis and fare construction.When reissuing, include in the Endorsements field: INVOL CHG DUE TO CNL TRENITALIA.
Passengers who do not accept the proposed protection: the involuntary change policy applies.
Passengers with train service until for travel until June 30, 2026:
Passengers with confirmed train service for travel until June 30, 2026 will be able to use it on the scheduled date. If these passengers request voluntary changes to their ticket, they must be informed that the train service cannot be included when modifying the ticket, and the change is subject to any applicable fare difference in accordance with the applicable fare regulations.
If there is a flight option to the train’s destination city, a voluntary change may be offered to travel with an airline with which LATAM has an agreement, subject to applicable fare differences. If the new ticket results in a residual balance, the agency must contact its Global Sales Support agent.

Train schedules: The displayed schedules correspond to the actual departure and arrival time of the train.
Check-in: From 72 hours before the train departure, the passenger enters their first and last name and one of the following data: PNR locator or; electronic ticket number: https://www.accesrail.com/ (check-in option).
Documentation: Identity document and Trenitalia document .
Passengers who do not have their Trenitalia ticket printed or downloaded on their mobile phone will not be able to board the train.
