    ROUTE - Operational changes in Punta del Este (PDP)

    Due to scheduled runway repair work at Punta del Este (PDP) airport, LATAM operation to/from PDP will be suspended between March 13 and June 15, 2020. 

    Customers with sale tickets are being notified via LATAM’s centralized channels: email, SMS, LATAM App.

    Flights Affected:

    All scheduled LA8130/LA8131 flights between GRU and PDP between March 13 and June 15, 2020.

    Protection proposed:

    Customers will be re-accommodated on alternative LATAM flights bound for Montevideo (MVD), Uruguay.

     

    LATAM will not provide land transportation between PDP and MVD.

    Reservation handling:

    Protecting LATAM flights to/from MVD are being automatically and centrally added to all direct and indirect sale reservations. Tickets will be reissued as involuntary without penalty and/or fare differences.

     

    If protection does not appear in their reservation, customers may be protected as indicated.

     

    Customers with booked ancillaries may transfer these services to the new flights, subject to availability.

    When reissuing, in Ticket Endorsements box insert the note:

    INVOL LA8130/8131 CLND

    Customers with LATAM Travel land programs:

    Change or refund subject to operator’s policy.

    Important Note:

    If a customer is not satisfied with the alternative itinerary proposed, s/he may request a change or refund as per the terms defined in the protection polricy of the LATAM Trade.
