Use of protection masks on LATAM flights

Continuing with the measures that seek to protect the health and safety of our people and our passengers, from May 11 the use of protection masks will be mandatory on ALL LATAM flights, which already applies in Chile by government requirement, published on 04/07/2020


The company is proactively reporting this measure to all of its passengers.


Passengers traveling on LATAM - Regular, Charter and Repatriation Flights.

LATAM will not provide protection masks. Passengers must ensure they are carrying their own masks for traveling. 


This requirement applies to all passengers. However, the Health Authority has issued an exception for the following passengers:

·     Infants,

·     Minors (CHD up to 11 years of age),

·     Passengers with cognitive disorders (Down and Asperger syndromes, autism, etc.).

·     Passengers with obvious intellectual deficiency,

·     Passengers with a mental pathology that may result in decompensation in flight (schizophrenia, acute panic attack, etc.).
