    New fee for international connections in Lima (LIM)

    Dear Travel Partner,

     

    We want to let you know that, following a decision made by the concessionaire of Jorge Chávez International Airport (Lima Airport Partners – LAP), a new charge called the Unified Airport Use Fee (TUUA) for transfers will take effect starting December 7, 2025. The amount will be USD 11.86 per passenger.

    This fee applies to passengers connecting between international flights under the same reservation.

    Please note that this measure is entirely managed by LAP. LATAM will not collect this fee through any of our sales or service channels. Passengers must make the payment directly to LAP, either at airport kiosks or through the payment method provided by LAP.

    At LATAM, we understand that this change may affect your passengers’ total travel cost and could lead to additional wait times during their connection. Even so, we trust that the authorities involved will continue reviewing this measure to ensure a better experience for travelers.

    We regret any inconvenience that this fee — set by the airport concessionaire — may cause, whether in the final price paid by the passenger or in their comfort during the connection. If LAP announces any changes or updates, we will let you know right away.
