Mandatory entry of the ticket number to South America for South American Airpass issued in Mexico

This is to remind our Travel Agents that all "South American Airpass" (SAA) tickets must include the correct LATAM ticket number corresponding to the international trip to South America in the "Endorsements/Restrictions" box.

Example: NONEND NONREF CHG FEE APPLIES CONX 0451233089775

Therefore, if the entry of the LATAM Long Haul ticket number to South America is omitted or if it is incorrectly entered, it will be considered an irregularity.

This information appears in section 18 of the fare rules, as shown below:

18. TICKET ENDORSEMENTS

THE ORIGINAL AND THE REISSUED TICKET MUST BE ANNOTATED NONREF/NONEND/CHG FEE APPL - IN THE ENDORSEMENT BOX

NOTE - TEXT BELOW NOT VALIDATED FOR AUTOPRICING. TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED IN CONNECTION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL TICKET TO SOUTH AMERICA ACCORDING TO RULE APPLICATION FOR CORRESPONDING MARKET. PLEASE NOTE THE CORRECT AND COMPLETE INTERNATIONAL TICKET NUMBER MUST BE INSERTED IN THE ENDORSEMENT BOX. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL BE SUBJECT TO ADM.

Starting on August 2, 2018 the following Agent Debit Memo (ADM) will be charged for irregularities issuing South American Airpasses + the administrative Charges associated to ADMs:

Route

ADM Fee

Regional

USD 200

Domestic Peru

USD 100

Domestic Brazil

Domestic Argentina

Domestic Chile

Domestic Ecuador

Domestic Colombia

The collection of the aforementioned amounts applies as long as the Long Haul ticket exists and was not entered or entered incorrectly in the Endorsements field of the South American Airpass ticket.

In case it is detected that the Long Haul ticket was not issued, the ADM will be charged based on a public fare for not complying with the rules for the issuance of the SAA, therefore, the amount of the ADM will be calculated between the difference of the issued fare and the published applicable fare at the time of ticketing for the class used or the next higher applicable fare.
