    Chat improvements: support in your preferred language

    Starting March 23, the LATAM Trade chat will introduce a key improvement: you will be able to choose the language you want to be assisted in — including Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, Italian and German — regardless of the country you are connecting from.

    This update improves how each request is initiated, making it more agile and better routed from the very first contact.

    Information required to start a chat

    Required:

    • First name
    • Last name
    • Email
    • Agency IATA

    Optional (recommended):

    • Ticketing IATA
    • Booking code (PNR)
    • Preferred language — new

    We expect this improvement to help you manage your requests in your preferred language, with greater clarity and fewer frictions. 

    Virtual Assistant + Specialists in one flow

     

    Remember that the chat combines a Virtual Assistant and specialists within the same conversation, depending on the type of request. The Virtual Assistant can immediately help you with common queries such as:

    • Checking ticket, PNR or order status
    • Reviewing flight schedules and status
    • Understanding conditions for involuntary changes
    • Checking fare rules for changes and refunds
    • Identifying and managing simple name corrections

    When needed, the chat is automatically escalated to a Global Sales Support specialist.
