Description:

Please be informed that content related to Train Service in Germany has been updated on LATAM Trade from provider W2 - Flexflight/Worldticket

Scope:

Passengers who have purchased the Train in Germany service, which consists of a round trip (RT) or one-way (OW) train trip from Frankfurt to any destination within Germany.

Implementation data:

Immediate

Considerations

The main updates are:

Issuance:

Rail Segments are sold and issued exclusively in connection with an international flight.

Rail segments apply to both - outbound and inbound transportation on the indicated route.

Refund and change:

Once the Rail Segment has been set to "Check-in", a refund and rebooking of the Rail Segment is no longer possible.

Issue of Children (CHD) and Infants (INF) Segments :

Children 2 to 11 years of age are eligible for a discounted child fare, provided that the Fare Basis in the code entered on the flight ticket shows a CHD discount according to IATA Ticketing

Passengers aged 0 or 1 year and 11 months (Infants) travel free of charge.

Check-in:

Passengers must check-in prior to departure using their first and last name and PNR or e-ticket to receive their train ticket. If several passengers booked on the same PNR use the same rail connection, these passengers (max. 5 people) can check in together and then receive a joint ticket. This means that larger groups need to check-in separately.

Endorsement:

Train tickets must not be endorsed or altered by LATAM. Otherwise, the documents will be invalidated.
