EXCEPTIONS - Update commercial flexibility for passengers with non-affected flights (except Brazil)

Description:

Commercial flexibility for passengers with NON cancelled/rescheduled flights in all markets (except BR).

Customers traveling:

1. Commercial tickets issued UNTIL April 30, 2021, with a flight date between March 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021.

 

2. Tickets issued from October 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 with a flight date from May 1, 2021 onwards.

Customers may choose ONE of the following ONE-TIME options:

Change of date, flight or rerouting

1. Commercial tickets issued UNTIL April 30, 2021, with flights between March 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021.

WITHOUT PENALTY, subject to applicable fare differences and ticket validity.

  • Applies to customers without affected flights who did not show for their flight and DID NOT advise before flight departure.
  • When reissuing the ticket, insert the text: WVDCOVID in the Endorsements/Restrictions box.
  • It only applies to passengers who have not taken the previous commercial exceptions for passengers without affected flights.

Passengers who advised the cancellation of their reservation before flight departure and the reservation has a mark entered by an agency support agent, it will be allowed to modify the itinerary in accordance with the conditions offered at that time.

 

-     Tickets issued between May 20, 2020 and July 31, 2020 traveling from May 20, 2020 onwards, may be reissued without any additional collection through an involuntary reissue (keeping the same origin, destination, cabin and type of passenger).

 

-     Tickets issued between August 1, 2020 and September 30, 2020 with inbound flights until 30NOV2020 maintain their change option without additional charges through an involuntary reissue to rebook flights during May 2021 (keeping the same origin, destination, cabin and type of passenger).

2. Tickets issued from October 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 with a flight date from May 1, 2021 onwards.

WITHOUT PENALTY, subject to applicable fare differences and ticket validity.

 

  • Fares allow multiple changes before starting the trip or once the passenger is at the destination as long as the purchase and changes are made until June 30, 2021.
  • Changes without penalty apply provided the ticket is reissued BEFORE the original departure date. Changes made after the original departure date are subject to penalties due to No Show.
  • Applies to all brands in the public and private fare structure, on both domestic and international routes.
  • All reissues are subject to the current reissue policy. All applicable fare differences will be charged.
  • All fare conditions are available for consultation in your GDS under the ticket fare regulations.

Change of origin/destination

Customers traveling according to points 1 and 2.

Without penalty, subject to fare differences and ticket validity.

Refund

Customers traveling according to points 1 and 2.

Subject to fare regulation according to processes and conditions established for each country.

Other considerations:

      Ticket validity: For fully unused tickets up to 12 months from the commencement of the original trip and for partially used tickets subject to the maximum stay allowed by the fare. However, for tickets with original trip commencement date between March 01, 2020 and December 31, 2020, tickets may be changed until December 31, 2021, according to system availability.

      Flexibilities include customers who decide not to travel or are affected by border restrictions/emergency situations for traveling to certain countries. Check details on entry restrictions by country. This information is posted as reference only. Customers must be advised to check current restrictions with the relevant embassy/consulate.

Important:

  • Changes of date/flight/rerouting apply maintaining the same origin/destination.
  • Change of origin/destination means flying to/from a city different than the one printed on the original flight coupon.
  • Ancillaries associated to the ticket are subject to changes and/or refund depending on the action taken with the ticket.
